E-YANTRA ROBOTICS LAB

E-Yantra Robotics Lab of IIT Bombay Inaugurated at SITAM Vizianagaram | 12 March 2025 SITAM has taken a significant step in advancing technical education with the inauguration of the E-Yantra Robotics Lab, a pioneering initiative by IIT Bombay, at its campus. The lab was formally inaugurated by Dr. Botcha Jhansi Lakshmi, Former MP, Secretary & Correspondent, Satya Group of Institutions. E-Yantra, sponsored by the Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India, under the National Mission on Education through ICT (NMEICT), aims to promote hands-on learning in Embedded Systems and Robotics across engineering institutions in India. As part of this initiative, 30 students and faculty members at SITAM have been certified by IIT Bombay to establish the Robotics Lab and train students in robotics, embedded systems, and the Internet of Things (IoT). Dr. Botcha Jhansi Lakshmi handed over the IIT Bombay certifications to the qualified faculty and students during the event.
